It's not there. It's there.

That's how quickly, amazingly, and impossibly a card pops out of the deck with Aaron Fisher's powerful new sleight, One-hand Popover. Based on J.K. Hartman's Popover, this new revelation is the basis for a wide variety of visually stunning card illusions, from Ace productions to transpositions to card stabs - all made more remarkable because you're holding the deck with just one hand.

First taught in The Paper Engine, Aaron's acclaimed book on advanced card technique, One-Hand Popover is now part of Aaron's Personal Training Series, where you can learn every nuance of this move - from exact finger placement to critical timing issues - as if its creator were sitting right across from you in your living room.

On the One-Hand Popover download, you'll find many never before seen, practical uses for this celebrated production. But that's not all. You'll also get:

All the technology that Aaron has developed with this dynamic move in the 10 years since he wrote The Paper Engine. New, different, and more powerful applications? You bet. The seamless direction of Wayne Houchin and Dana Hocking. When these directors collaborate with Aaron Fisher, you know you're getting the very finest teaching available in magic today, combined with the very best direction available in the magic instructional market. The result is a teaching tool unlike any other.

Even if you're scared of "advanced" sleight of hand, Aaron will guide you through every step of the learning process, ensuring that you'll not only learn the One-Hand Popover, you'll master it - and in far less time than you ever thought possible. One-Hand Popover

Aaron Fisher's One-Hand Popover DVD will allow you to master this beautiful sleight in as little time possible. I own The Paper Engine where this sleight is also taught. Although there is clear instructions that teach this sleight in the book, I still found it difficult to grasp. After seeing it done in video, and learning tons of tips, tricks and applications on this DVD, I almost immediately started getting the motions down.

Later the same day I started getting the hang of it. Now I still recommend the book, it has a lot of great stuff in it. But if you're looking to learn just this move, then this DVD is where everything is laid out flat with nothing held back.

One thing that he mentioned that I found true was that, if you don't really know much about the move, almost everyone thinks that the ring figure does all the work (even me in the beginning). However, that is completely wrong, and he shows you how it really works. I look forward to using this move for years to come and I think you will too once mastered. Thanks Aaron.

I wasn't certain what to think when I first saw a clip for this dvd. To say that I felt a little intimidated would be an understatement.I am not someone who feels comfortable performing difficult sleights. However, Aarons teaching style is very detailed and concise. He leads you through everything step by step on the dvd.I was able to perform the sleight with an hours worth of practice(not perfectly mind you but, I was able to pull it off). This is a sleight that is very unique, just be aware that it something that will take months to perfect. I think that for the amount of content on the dvd and the quality of the teaching it is well worth the price.

I didn't really like it because the modified grip is way too hard to get into and for all the work you need to put into an effect that lasts MAYBE 2-4 seconds in the spectator's minds it's just not worth it in my honest opinion.

If you're good with cards and can figure it out fairly easily then you should get it but if you're a beginner or intermediate in card magic I highly suggest you just get his Search & Destroy DVD if you don't already have it.
