I'll be honest with you. The effect is GREAT! I've blown several people away with this one and the reactions are unlike many of my other effects, especially those with cards. The idea that a selected card later appears in written format on the side of a sharpie is truly Mind-Blowing!

Pro's:
You start clean and you can end clean.
The DVD is straight and to the point.
There are a few different routines and even room for your own creativity.
If you were to think about it critically you could pull it off with a borrowed sharpie.
You will most likely get the reactions that Sanders gets in the trailer.
The sharpie writes like all other sharpies.
Double or single reveal.

When I originally unboxed the effect I was a little disappointed when I realized how simple the effect really is.
Some slight of hand is needed.
Your clothes are not dependent on this effect, but you might want to give some thought to what you wear so you can store the sharpie in an easily accessible pocket.
You can only change the logo from Sharpie to the first selected card, then from the first selected card to a second selected card.

Overall
I really like this effect, my only wish was that it gave more options for the sharpie logo to change other than twice. Regardless it is totally worth the money paid. Because of this effect I have highly considered Richard Sander's other work. This product is high quality and easy to learn. I highly recommend it for intermediate and professional magicians.

This is by far the one of the most visual illusions out there. They can examine everything, and they love it. I perform at high end clubs in NYC and I will tell you, this right here is a money maker!

I like it, it's easy to do and it's different. I've even done it in they're hand (I asked them to sign the card, then I said "We mareked the card with the marker now I'm going to mark the marker with the card." I made believe I invisibly throw the the card and told them to look at the marker, and I got a great reaction.

Bought this long time ago but just kind of "rediscovered" this one. Easy to do and has a very powerful effect. Can be used anywhere in a routine! Highly recommended!

This is more than just a card trick. The change of ink on the sharpie is such a great visual revelation for the spectator. This gets great reactions and you can finally make use of sharpies for more than just signing playing cards. I highly recommend this

I've bought a lot of stuff from Penguin and I think that this is one of the best things I've ever put my hands on. After watching the DVD, (which is top notch I might add), and a little practice this became the strongest piece of close-up/walk around magic in my routine. It packs small and plays big; to put it plainly, with this effect I've absolutely melted people's minds and it seems to be the thing they remember.

Not to mention, since you are performing with a Sharpie, (an everyday object and something seemingly all magicians have on them), it ends nearly completely clean. *I'll stop there and let you find out the rest on your own :)

P.S. don't do what I did and misplace the contents that come along with the DVD. Needless to say, I will be purchasing this for a second time in the near future. It was that valuable to my routine and I absolutely love the effect.
