The Man is a great entertainer and has some nice ideas and the few things I got out of it was worth
the price of his lecture. Thought he talked a bit to much but glad I got to purchase it as I said
previously , got me a couple of things for my show.

The "standing card" is a great visual, but you do need a table.
It messes with people's heads.
The dice routine is something I adopted, and it is similar to the bonus routine in Max
Maven's "Nothing" dvd.
The subtle addition that Gaetan added to the "vanishing bottle" is
brilliant.
Check out Jon Armstrong's penguin lecture for a similar subtlety.
The
routine with the paper plates is wonderful. It packs relatively small and plays big. It's mayhem
as the plates are tossed around, yet the plot is simple to follow. The dice in the box though needs
to be made.
The "inexhaustible sponge" is a nice running gag, but not for me. Also, you'll
need to get the sponge - if it is still available. It does demonstrate Gaetan's way of thinking.

I had never seen Gaetan Bloom lecture before, and I was really looking forward to it! This lecture
is really long, full of amazing tips on performance and on creating your own routines, interesting
anecdotes about legendary magicians, but above all, some great effects to add to your repertoire.
Gaetan is a very generous man! He didn't just share his tricks, he actually shared the original
thinking that underpins his creativity! Consequently, I not only learned clever effects that will
astonish laymen and magicians alike, but I also got a lot of inspiration to come up with my own
creations.
If you want some really clever out-of-the-box thinking and original routines
that your audience will have never seen before, then don't hesitate and buy this lecture!

This one is really hard to rate, it had very few complete tricks but lots of stimulus for new ideas.
Also Gaetan's accent was a little hard to follow at times.
Overall though the tricks were
excellent and the stimulus excellent as well. The sort of video that leads to a search of eBay and
Amazon right after. Perhaps weeks later a whole new original trick to add to your performance.

He's got good stuff if you're an MC at a wedding or throwing a stag and doe. You'll learn some
inexpensive and easy ways to do tricks that play big, involve people, and have potential for fun.
His material might be helpful to a beginning magician trying to develop a stage show.
Personally, I wasn't inspired or wowed or educated very much.

There really is nothing of value for me in this that isn't in Amazing Standing Card by Gaetan Bloom.
I was disappointed.

This Lecture is full of creative magic. Alot of the tricks you will have to make and buy some boxes
or what not but the effect is really amazing. He teaches so many great gags and tricks that each
should be worth the price of the lecture.

There were few complete effects on show although the standing card is worth the price of admission.
I loved the chalk board effect (which you’d have to build yourself).
What we got was a 3
hour conversation full of great insights and a look at Gaetons way of thinking. We got a few
examples of how he’d taken an existing trick and improved it. This was all wonderful stuff.
He recounted stories from his career which I found relatively interesting although your mileage
may vary.
Gaeton was ill on the day of filming but persevered and there isn’t too much
impact. Dan interacted well with him to keep things flowing.
The audience were a bit meh. I
assume they’re all magicians but they didn’t come across as overly enthused. I’m not asking for L&L
levels of insanity but it does impact on the whole lecture if they’re not into things.
