I recently bought all the items here separately before this was released and I have to say this is a deal. Normally a straight jacket is $150 on it's own, and the Dixie Dooley DVDs are in the ball park of $100 so you're getting one hell of a deal.

I have received my Escape Jacket PRO just a few hours ago. Unfortunately the straps of the jacket are already wearing out after only 5 times of practice.
I think that is because the belt loops of the straps are just to narrow for the straps to fit through smoothly.
That's a shame because the overal look of the jacket is amazing.

This is a costume jacket that by itself would run you almost the cost of this package. The straps aren't the strongest--one of mine split apart when i was working on them as described in the video, but a little glue will take care of that. Here's what I think: if you've never been in or tried to escape from a straight jacket before, get this. Dan Harlan shows you how to work with the jacket, and gives great tips for drama and show for the escape. It will take some practice. For the price, there is no better entry-level product you can get to try it on and see if this is really what you want to add to your set. I had a discussion with a peer who does escapes. He says he's seen better, and so have I, but I think this is the route you need to take if you want to get started in jacket escapes. All I can think is that I COULD have spent significantly more on a fancy high-dollar jacket and tried to figure it out before giving up and never using it. Dan Harlan's video walks you through the process. What I'll be doing is adding this to my set with THIS jacket for a year or so, and then maybe after I wear it out, I'll get another one just like this (with better leather straps).

This package is easily one of the best values to be found concerning straightjacket work. I have been doing the escape for over a decade - have 3 Posey jackets - and bought this one partly to see if the actual jacket was as good as it appeared (it is) and also to get Harlans insight into the subject.

This is really a great jacket. HIghest quality and it comes with several DVD and a download. Many variations to perform this. It fits me well! It is already included in my act!This jacket will lasts a long time!

What a great price! The jacket alone would worth 100$. Escapology DVD set is also worth 100$. You also receive an instrution DVD and a download video starring Dan Harlan. The jacket DVD is not worth much but Dan's download is fantastic. A lot of tips. The reason I don't give a 5 stars is because I received a defect Jacket. The buckle on the right sleeve is installed on the wrong side... Must twist the sleeve or go see a shoemaker to repair this... This may be the real reason why this is so a great deal... who knows...
