Just purchased FRENCH KISS and all I can say is BRILLIANT! This is probably the first trick I have
purchased that I feel 100% confident performing in front of several people with out the fear of
messing up just days after buying it. It does require a little practice on steps but it's super easy
to perform. Wayne explains every step very professionaly and slowly. My top hat off to Wayne and
FRENCK KISS!

At least 75% of the time a trick is requested, it's this one. This is the trick everyone remembers
me for, whenever I'm introduced as a magician they almost always tell the person of the time I did
this trick. While not impromptu, you can set it up if you have 10 seconds to yourself, and if you're
really good as far as cards go you can actually have it set up in advance to repeat the trick. I
once had to do this trick 6 times in a row at a large party as one person kept grabbing new people
to see it. I know I was breaking one of the most important rules of magic, performing the same trick
for the same audience, but I couldnt resist. Two caveats: first, I have had some audience members
figure out the trick, as it's not overly complicated, but almost every time the crowd explains why
they didnt get it right (even though they did) and they end up looking like idiots. Second, this
trick involves very basic slight of hand, sleights every magician should know, but probably the most
common sleights magicians avoid. So, any intermediate or advanced magicians need to get this trick,
any beginner magicians need to get Born To Perform by Oz Pearlman and then get this trick.

I've wanted to learn this effect since I saw the art of magic a few years back. I'm finally glad I
got to pick it up in download form for instant views. the method is great and the teaching is very
clear. He shows performance than instruction back to commentary performance so you can hear him
explain everything during the routine. He's done this teaching style in other effects as well.
Wayne is a great teacher and I have several of his effects. This is worth the money. Very easy and
extremely practical. I performed this right away and got a really great reaction. This is going
directly into my repertoire.

Bought this on open box and read all the reviews so I decided I had to buy it immediately. Best
choice ever! In the past 2 days since I have learned this trick I have performed it for over 20
people 20 times and EVERYBODY LOVES it to say the least. It was so easy to learn and right off the
bat started performing. Do not debate on getting this. ONE OF MY FAVORITE TRICKS!

This is one of my favorite go to tricks I have. Simple and easy but a mind blower. TIP Keep the
signed card for your next deck to use. Saves you on ruining more cards.

This is the very first effect I have purchased by Wayne Houchin. After watching the trailer once I
knew the mechanics of the trick. I've been playing around with magic since 77, so very familiar with
most sleights. If you are a fairly serious card handler, you will already know the sleights that
Wayne uses for this beautiful piece of magic. Mr Houchin has basically taken a classic effect to a
higher level. I purchased the download mainly because I wanted to see and hear Wayne's approach and
his tips and extra touches. I've never been very good at the sleight he uses, so now I have
motivation to really practice it. I will definitely now master the sleight required to perform this
masterpiece. Excellent job Mr. Houchin. I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to
purchasing some of our other effects. I especially liked the version with an ordinary small pad.
The only downside to this is that you can't do it in a walkaround venue as there is a little setup
involved in both cases, but at the right time, as a one time piece of magic, it will fry your
audience. It's not impromptu, but it IS powerful. I think I like the routine with the 'pad' more
than with the cards. It seems more impromptu. Well done Wayne. Highly recommended.

Intimate transposition with a card is a great idea but Rich Lax's Contact accomplishes same effect
with 1 card in more straight forward manner. And there is no need to turn cards off the top of the
deck...just straightforward handling.

Like most Magi, I hate to pay full price for something if I don't have to, but I try to support my
local brick and mortar magic shop as well as visiting lecturer's when I can. Wayne came and
lectured to our group and incidentally, his talk was full of very clever and reaction getting ideas.
He is very gifted at simplifying miracles! I purchased this for full price at his lecture and I am
not disappointed. This is a "go to" trick and the reactions I get from this are phenomenal. The
execution is minimally knacky and is easy to learn, but the tips he gives makes it very simple to
perform. Similar effects have been done with cards for decades but he has transitioned this over to
a simple notepad, which breaks up the monotony for your audience. Refills you can purchase for a
dollar or two if you don't have small spiral bowel pads and paper laying around your house! It
plays just as it looks. If you like it, buy it! Highly recommended

The explanation is fairly basic, I actually quite like the pad idea. The real value lies in the
subtleties and the nuances, which Wayne goes over at the end. Don't expect any revolutionary
handlings, but watching Wayne perform this will improve your own performance!
If you don't
know this effect, BUY IT without thinking about it, it's one of the strongest card tricks available.
