--Blaine Watch--

This DVD features an effect David Blaine performed a number of times on his Street Magic Special - Eddie Fetcher's "Be Honest  - Was Is It?" (also referred to as the "Two Card Monte").  David Williamson offers a terrific version of this great in the hands card trick with his variation entitled "The Memory Test" don't miss it.

Magic Farm contains more of the magic that has made Dave one of the most sought after magicians in the world! You'll see Dave perform powerful new audience-tested routines like Liar's Poker, a devilishly clever gambling routine, and Funner Color Stunner, Dave's wicked Color Changing Deck routine. Dave also reveals some of his favorite uses of his Striking Vanish! Each of the seven fabulous routine is performed before a live audience and then thoughtfully thoroughly and entertainingly explained. It's the most fun you'll ever have learning magic!

I can't believe there are only 4 reviews before mine. This is a great dvd packed with workers that are in most everyone's grasp. The section on the "Striking Vanish" is worth the price of admission and his "Dazzle Act" is worth even more. A Perfect "in the hands act" for table hopping or just busting out a deck for a small group and not looking like "Oh no, Uncle Bob is gonna do that silly card trick again". "Dazzle Act" is a sweet progression from beginning to end.

Do Not Buy This, now I understand why there were only 4 reviews before mine.

For over a decade, Dave hadn't released any new material since his first 2 ground breaking VHS's. Then in 2005 he came out with his DVD Magic Farm and lit the magic world on fire with new, audience tested material.

You WILL do the tricks on this DVD!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dave perform numerous of times over the years and without any doubts, this man truly entertains. I learned a great deal of the psychology behind his magic. This DVD again is another one of his ingenious thinking and there are some really good routines you will enjoy. The Memory Test and Color Stunner alone are worth the cost of the DVD. I have performed these two routines and they pack the PUNCH in your spectator's faces. You will not be disappointed if you invest the purchase of this DVD.

A Great DVD Report this review

David Williamson has become one of my favourite magics as a result of this DVD. The magic that he does is absolutely stunning and his performance is really good too. As stated in the description, you will learn the two card monte trick which is a crown stunner. Two card monte was the first trick that I ever learned, and I still use it today because it always gets great reactions.

There is another super amazing trick that you will learn on this that will stun your audience. You spread the cards out and tell the spectator to think of one of the cards they see. You close the deck and give it a few cuts if you want. You go through the pack and pull one card out of the pack and put it in your shirt pocket or suit breast pocket and leave it sticking out. The spectator tells everyone the card they were thinking out and you take the card out. It's the same card they were thinking of. This trick will work 100% of the time (unless you are dealing with a real heckler). I've done it many times and it's never failed.

This is one of the best magic DVDs that I've ever seen. If you've never heard of Williamson, find a demo video somewhere and see for yourself how amazing he is. If you want to learn some stuff that is not done by a million other magicians, pick this up and you won't regret it.

You are definitely a worse magician for having not seen this yet.

Not only is this the funniest magic video I've ever seen (I'm pretty sure David Williamson swallowed a joke book when he was a baby), but also it's filled to the brim with wisdom.

Just watching David perform these routines--some of which you already may be familiar with--will give you ideas for how to make your magic better.

The intro to this 1 hour and 42 minute video is 12 minutes long. Ordinarily, I fast forward through intros that are even 30 seconds long.

I couldn't fast forward. The 12 minute intro was captivating (maybe I'm weird). I almost think David made it that long because it's funny to have an intro so long.

Years ago I saw David do the salt trick. I've always thought of it as the perfect magic trick.

Ordinary object (salt). Check.
Simple plot. Check.
Visual. Check.

You pour salt into your hand, and it vanishes.
Now it's in the spectator's mug in front of her that she just wiped clean.

With the right persona it might seem like real magic.
To a layperson, vanishing salt seems to rule out sleight of hand.

The trick takes up less pocket space than a deck of cards, but your audience will remember the salt trick after they've forgotten your amazing (though forgettable) card tricks.

Spectators can't tell a story about Inv Deck (I've heard them tell their friends, "He got my card!"), and they even have trouble with Amb Card (seriously... what's the best story that can be told about a card that was placed in the middle of a deck but then went to the top).

The salt trick is a story. Spectators remember it clearly and they can easily tell that story.

This video is a treasure.
