THE GOOD: Great lecture, lots of practical info. I like how there were not only tricks, but practical business advice. Lots of gems on real-world corporate effects, riders, pricing, business management, etc.

THE BAD: Dan Harlan and Chad Long kept interrupting him! It's the Bill Herz Lecture, not the Dan Harlan/Chad Long comedy side show. Bill got interrupted so much, I would have liked it if Dan and Chad took a back seat and let Bill do his thing.

If you will buy this lecture for the magics, ok. Bill will teach you 3 or 5 GREAT ones (easy to do and with very impact on the audience) !!!

But this is not a magic trick lecture only. This lecture will give you much more than great tricks. It will make you think different about your carrer as a magician. Here are some things that he will talk about:
- What can you do to differentiate you from the others ?
- How can you sell yourself as a magician ?
- How much should they pay to see your show ?
- What to do when they tell you that they don´t have how to pay your price ?
- What to do when the DJ is playing music so loud that nobody hears you ?
- How to introduce the CEO of a company in a great way ?
- What you need to know in order to work with great corporations ?

Almost 4 hours of great material !!!

You will have to see this lecture more than one time because he gives us too much ideas that will take some time to implement all of them ...

Very, very, very, very recommende lecture !!! Hope we may have a second lecture with him !!!

This is a chap who is very knowledgeable in the corporate field who shared lots of good advice. However, needs to listen to some of his own advice. He alluded to the 4 hour boring board meeting. At some stages this talk went the same way. Needed to be broken up with some more magic since that is what the paying customers on here are purchasing.
However if Penguin have any sense they will invite this chap back for a magic only for corporate events lecture because he undoubtedly has a wealth of knowledge. The Balducci effect, although simple was invaluable and more magic like this would make a great lecture. I think that is what the paying customers on here are looking for.

Bill Herz is a legend in this field and when he speaks you should do yourself a favor and listen. I have watched most of all the downloads form the penguin Live series and this is by far the best money I have spent to date.

Bill looks at the business of magic in a way that has made him the leading authority on the subject. He literally owns this market.

If you are serious about working in the corporate market then you are a fool to not buy and study this lecture.

I rarely write reviews on products but this lecture is too good to not voice my thoughts on.

Download it now, Watch it as soon as you can and come back to it to study everything Bill says.

Bill shares some great advice and two powerful effects that are perfect for the corporate market.
Herz is the undisputed authority on corporate magic. He spills the beans on how things really work, who and what to look out for and a ton a funny and wise stories.
Several of the effects are brilliant for stage work.

I think this is my 1st ever Penguin review.
I took a chance on this because I need to figure out how to market my magical services. BTW, sad to say, but I never heard of Bill.

Bill's ideas & plans of attack are genius! Dan's is right - it's like Bill creates a magic effect with a marketing premise.

I was so impressed with him that I'm even considering getting in touch with Bill.

ALSO: Where can I get a "bag" like the one used in the lecture?

If you are watching this to be fooled, pass. If you are watching this to learn the latest cutting edge sleights, pass. If you have no desire to perform for anyone other than your friends and the same people you usually perform for, pass. However, if you are right on the edge of transitioning from part-time to full-time pro, download this now. This might be the lecture that takes your over the edge and starts you down the path to making a living as a corporate magician. Will it teach you everything you need to know? No, but it will get you in the mindset you need to be in to make a living with your passion.

this lecture is presented as a top one, honestly if you are Pro all the infos Bill shares are for beginners and its a big bla bla bla lecttures with a lot of interference of Dan and Chat! the tricks (i think 5 in total) presented in this lecture are all self working, manly for beginners! it seems that Bill shares only few easy routines (keeping some real good ones for himslf, which i can understand) lot of infos but in reality nothing really substantial. the lecture is pretty much self centered: "look how a great corporate entertainer i am!! ... nothing to really gain then just listen all the STORYS of Bill with top corporate gigs... i have my doubt about this lectures which is finalized to MANLY promote him self. If you want to know about how to sell and became a pro just study and maybe read some marketing guru book like Brian Tracy which is a lot more worth it than this crap.
