This makes a wonderful warm-up routine for young audiences.

You begin wearing a pair of knit gloves. Remove the gloves, give one to a child. Then say the magic words, and the glove has shrunk! A very funny effect and a wonderful, magical happening right in their hands!

As part of the Sammy Signatures line, The Shrinking Glove comes with a nifty booklet containing Sammy Smith's complete routine.

PROS: VERY easy to do. 100% self working. And also it's a great way to START any sort of manipulation act or a kids show.

CONS: The gloves only come in red, and I wish they were white or blue. But oh well. On the one hand, the method is 'easy' on the other hand, it's pretty diabolical.

OVERALL, though, I'd highly recommend this for the price, good for kids and good for silent acts and, man, GREAT for a gag. I guess I'd rate 5 stars as a gag.

Picked up the gloves for my christmas show. I've seen others perform it and it seems to get a good reaction.

This trick while not all that magical is funny for a kids show and is a nice way to get the children involved in the show. It is another that is good for a Christmas or winter show and will be a lot of fun for you to perform. It does not get any easier than this trick is to perform. Put the gloves on and you are good to go.
