A nice way to cut and keep order Report this review

I am new to card tricks. I have always had a hard time handling cards when it comes to cutting the deck. This one took me watching it several times, but I finally got it. I practice in front of a mirror and the pinkie marking the cut is not obvious. I practiced a few dozen times and felt I had this down pretty well. I will keep working on it until it is more smooth. Not hard. Good instructions.

This was a very simple false cut to learn, but at regular speed is really a fooler to the layperson. The video was short, but very easy to follow and to learn. I have already begun to use this while performing.

This false cut has been done before, first by Ed Marlo, I believe. (Didn't he invent everything first?)

I came up with a variation that I think is a little more elegant. Two swing cuts seem a little awkward, so after the first swing cut, I do a pivot cut for the second one. Much easier with a packet of cards already in your hand. Otherwise everything is the same.
