This is a good trick. The gimmick is easy to make, the handling is well explained, and the effect
is very good.
HOWEVER, the gimmick won't work with Canadian bills, or almost any non-US
bills I've seen. Had I known this prior to purchase, I wouldn't have bought it.
If you're
in the US, or don't mind performing with US currency, this is worth picking up. If you're elsewhere
in the world, take a pass on this one.

Justin & Rick, This is such a great effect! The gimmick is brilliant and super easy to make! The
routine will take practice, but you'll have to down in a couple of minutes! I've only done this for
a couple of people so far, but the the reactions it got were great! Great job Justin! Get

As a professional restaurant magician for well over 20 years now, I am very discerning and choosy
regarding what effects I add to my repertoire. For me the "packs small, plays big" adage is what I
live by. The effect must be instantly or extremely easy to reset, must take up very little pocket
space and must pack a whallop as a magical effect! Transaction fits every one of those
requirements! The gimmick is brilliant and is so visually deceptive that no one will suspect
anything! One wonderful aspect of this effect is that you can borrow the $10 bills if you'd like. As
a stand-alone effect it is very strong. Borrowing a couple of the bills or putting it together with
other money effects could make a knock out routine! The teaching by Rick Lax is wonderful and he
even includes an "over the shoulder" section so you can see what it looks like from "our
perspective". To me, that is the most valuable part of the teaching. Seeing it in action is
awesome, but to learn it I need to see it from my point of view. Rick goes into every little detail
and nuance of the handling and also the construction of the gimmick. It took a couple rewinds of
the folding section before I finally caught on with exactly how each fold went, but I did get it
fairly quickly and after that it makes perfect sense. Devote some time to this and you will have a
wonderful piece of magic at your command! Highly recommend this!

I've been a working Pro for over 20 years, so I've developed a few routines to which I simply don't
add anything because they are my strongest effects. After rehearsing this for only 30 minutes I
decided to include it. I couldn't have predicted the reactions this got. Over the top! When you do
strolling and/or restaurant magic like I do, pocket management is crucial and this fits the bill(pun
intended).
There are several things Rick overlooked in his teaching. What if you're
left-handed? You would have to reverse the orientation of the bills during several of the moves
which isn't difficult to figure out on your own. However, I feel they should've been included for
novices, especially given Rick's nature and penchant for attention to details.
And there's
a much simpler way to display the back of the $20 bill than what he teaches. It's a very organic
and natural way that any non-magician would do. I do it in the beginning while they're inspecting
the $10 bills, and once more after the effect. It really helps to sell the idea that they're all
normal bills. Only reason I mention this is because I always get asked, "Well, what about the 20?" I
display it while they're handling and refolding the tens. That way, they don't feel it's necessary
to handle the $20 themselves.
Having said that, Justin Flom is a genius! He
could've/should've/but glad he didn't charge a lot more. This will floor your specs. Trust my
experience when I say that. It's sooo simple to construct, learn and perform.

Money magic is always a win....win choice when someone says. "Show me a magic trick". And Justin
Floms Transaction is just the right one to fit the bill. No pun intended. Penguin Magic has always
had the best access to some of the best tricks out there and this one proves it. Thank you Justin
and thank you Penguin. A definite thumbs up on this one!

This effect is not bad in any way, in fact it is pretty good. However, it is somewhat lacking in
becoming a complete idea. I feel as if the way you have to hold the bills, is very awkward. With
this being said, i will still use the gimmick idea, however i will try to create a new handling.
Lastly this is a 30 dollar trick, and it cannot be done with other types of bills. I live in Canada
and our money is plastic, which means that i can't really do this trick. lastly their are better
methods for bill changes, such as bill breaker, extortion or extreme burn.
Still it is a good
trick and i will stick it in my wallet.

This is brilliant. While the display of the two tens is old con used in other effects, changing it
to a $20 in such a visual way is a very cool addition. The fact that you the gimmick is not bulky or
suspicious looking helps a lot. It looks like a single bill.
Using this gimmick in a 5 to 1
type of transposition is also a brilliant idea. I love changing a single bill into two bill and
leaving the clean bills in the spectator's hand. Ends strong and very deceptive. Appears clean.
All in all, well taught, well executed handling by Rick and brilliant design by Justin.
