This routine has been a feature of Pop Haydn's standup act since the mid-1970's.

It is a sure-fire trick and practically an essential part of any working pro's act. It can be a feature of a talking act, it can be done silently.

It is an excellent emcee bit, and a great way to spend connecting time with the audience while the magician's assistants are changing sets and setting up behind the curtain.

Pop teaches every nuance of this routine, with a breakdown step by step of the patter and moves. There are no difficult moves to learn.

Pop uses a Jumbo egg and 24" scarves in his performance and teaching. The same moves and routine work equally as well with a smaller silk and smaller gimmicked egg.

This trick dates back a long long time ago, but it still "packs small, plays big". Pop Haydn's handling is super easy to perform and plays big in any venue. I am performing it all the time, both corporate and in kid shows. Take the time to learn this timeless classic from a master today!

I have such respect for this "classic" of magic that I've held off adding it to my repertoire. It's simple enough to perform and audiences love it. However, there were some glitches in my handling of it that I couldn't work through. Pop Haydn's straight-forward instruction took care of that. Clear, concise and simple. I recommend this for anyone!

The method Pop uses is simple but never fails to fool and amuse the audience. That are the best tricks in my opinion. Not too complicated to perform so you can perform and enjoy the whole acting around this classic. He also teach you how to make your own eggs, what kind of silks to use etc.
I close my show with this short trick and it works great for adults and children. I put the glass with the egg on the edge of the stage after the show and a lot of children are closely looking to see if this is realy a real egg :-)

Not a a lot to say here. If you want to learn the silk to egg or already perform it and want points from one of the best in the business, this is worth the money.
Highly recommended.
I have found that most of the silk to eggs on the market now days aren’t very good anymore, with a couple exceptions. Resorted to making my own. Takes a little time, but looks great.
