A well presented routine, the details were well explained of this old rope trick, The fake Count,
and showing the different lengths at the end.

Very clearly explained, however will take some practice to do it smoothly and with confidence. In
front of a mirror would be wise. I myself needed to learn the moves one step at a time, but that's
just me.

This has been around for a lond time. No wonder! I love this effect. I'm 11 years old and I've been
doing magic for 3 years, and at first, I thought it was going to be hard. And then I did it! You can
do this trick on your first day of magic!

I did not purchase this from Penguin but I have been performing it for over 25 years. Invest some
time in this trick and it will pay you back 3x,6x,12x dividends. Try to learn from a magician who
already does it. Makes it easier to understand. There is soooo much show you can make out of this
one trick! My fav is to stretch them and throw them over my shoulder then walk around my (close up)
crowd and convince them that they are hypnotized before returning to the front and returning them to
their original size. Really a foundation of magic!

I had purchased a more 'deluxe' version of this effect from another supplier and had to come here to
get better performance angles to actually see what was happening.
Jay is a great teacher
in that he first demonstrates the effect, then teaches the mechanics of the effect slowly enough to
see the moves and then repeats the moves before moving onto slightly more advanced, or alternate
handlings.
I also liked that the video was short and concise (8 minutes) so that I could
get straight to the good stuff.
I would strongly recommend this download and I can see
myself performing it in almost any environment.
Great transaction and a great presentation of a great trick! Thanks.

Great and simple
Perfect for kids shows
Much better than the one I got in London a few
years ago!
This trick starts and ends clean. The audience inspects the ropes before the performance and after
the performance. The ropes are truly not gimmicked. It is easy to learn. Ropes are inexpensive. The
props do not occupy much space, so are relatively portable. And the effect is has on the audience is
great. There is potential to involve the audience and make your performance interactive if you ask
them to guess the sizes.
