I have a few gimmicks which give the look of the deck instantly losing its card box.. it is a great
miracle but sadly i feel a tad conned by the video advert of this trick, as you can see when the
trick is shown in a studio you can see four sides of the box, the bottom, top side and the flap, as
the magician performs the trick you can see the side panel as well as the top of the box and the
flap.. the hand goes across and then you see the deck.. The trick does not allow you to do this..
Hence why i feel conned,, I thought it would be exactly as it is performed and it is not. Besides
you have to build the gimmick yourself and you can pick up a cheaper version from all good magic
shops. The only difference is the flap.
Highly expensive for something you have to make, i
would expect the gimmick to be made for me at that price.
To be frank, a total

I concur with some of the other reviewers. The video looks great, but you have to make the gimmick.
Even though they provide the necessary items with the DVD, I didn't read anywhere that I have to
make the gimmick. This is a complicated gimmick to make, and while they may make it look easy, there
are many areas where an inexperienced person could screw it all up. The demo video does make it look
like you can see the entire box from all angles; they do cover ways of doing this on the DVD, but
frankly this is overly complicated. I won't even try to make the gimmick. I dislike do-it-yourself
magic. Should have spelled out in the product description that extensive construction is required. A
waste of money.

After several hours of cutting, gluing, and cursing. The gimmick ended up falling apart before I
even finished construction. I'd have to see about getting more supplies to start again from scratch
but I don't see it being worth it. Would not recommend.

I had bought this trick knowing it would have to be constructed and once I constructed it (2 times
because I messed up) the end result could have easily been better if this trick offered premade
gimmicks so 3 stars due to my disappointment with the difficulty the trick has to construct but the
pros are a great video explanation that even goes over a mental portion

You can't be to close to people with this one but all in all not bad I will use this one in low
light or controlled situations but not for walk around just would look funny me taking 10 steps
back to make sure the gimmick wouldn't be noticed .the gimmick was a bit of a pain to make might be
good for low light table hoping

The gimmick needs to be constructed. It does not last a lifetime as others may lead you to believe.
However, the information provided does allow you to construct additional gimmicks with materials
that can easily be procured.

Would be better if they just sold the gimmick.
It’s easy to mess up your construction with all
that folding going on.
Best to buy some bicycle seconds to make this. I’m yet to make one I’m
happy with enough to perform with.
Good idea, however they should provide the gimmicked constructed.
Personally this trick deserves 5 stars because of the concept it gives to us the magicians but I
give it a bold 4 because of its difficulty. I've had the dvd for about a day now and I believe this
trick has potential, what I mean is what we see in the video looks slightly different from what we
actually get. Yes they give us everything needed to preform this trick but they should have made it
clear that the gimmick has to be made. At the same time the price of this trick becomes cheaper
because they don't pre-make it which is more labor which increases the cost. However the gimmick
should have come with extra parts do to the complexity of its construction and can be easily broken
or damaged. When I made mine the first thing I noticed was how much thicker the gimmick was than I
originally thought it would be, I then noticed how one area sinks in which gives an uneven look. My
gimmick broke but the main materials needed remained intact so I plan on making a new one with some
modifications. In the construction I feel some steps can be skipped and or even not attached at all,
this process makes the gimmick thinner and gives it a slim look. I need need to buy a new part to
make my version work but I feel it will be a success. The main component that makes this gimmick
work is hard to find and when I looked it up I ended up finding products that had to do with sex, I
believe the part of the gimmick should have had a specific location to purchase it as apposed
searching the Internet for what may be the right product, in the end the material needed to make
more gimmicks is harder to find than we
are lead on to believe.
I'd be more than happy
to share my modification design to anyone who would like to give this trick a second chance.

I've "built" one gimmick so far and my first iteration is not as clean as I would have hoped... But
that being said I haven't had anyone catch the gimmick. I simply talk the talk while gently
gesturing my "box" around until I perform the vanish. And the ditch is easily accomplished if you
know how to control your audiences attention and are a bit creative. Both necessary traits to be a
successful magician anyway. Gave it four stars because of the need to construct the gimmick, but a
great buy all in all.
