This was the first issue of Penguin Magic Monthly I decided to read. I had no idea it wasn't just a knockoff of other magazines. I highly recommend anyone who is a magic performer or hobbyist to keep these handy and go back to them when you feel stuck or are looking for something new to perform.

I received the January 2018 issue of the Penguin Magic Monthly magazine with my latest Penguin Magic purchase and was pleased to find the little magazine so FULL of magic related information that was very informative and extremely interesting. Although the ENTIRE periodical was a pleasure to read, I was particularly drawn to the article called "Eggwave" and the one relating to "The Invisible Deck" (one of my all-time favorite effects).

I do not subscribe currently but I order enough to get the magazine fairly regularly. More and More I am pleasingly surprised with the quality of magic and articles I have found! Add frequently included gaffs, makes this small magazine BIG value and stands alone!
