I made up a version with a Coke Bottle and a dime. It worked perfectly. The only catch is that the Cok bottle I used was ribbed so the visual wasn't quite as striking as it would be with a smooth bottle.
IBC root beer, Martenelli's, or bottled water could also work but it would take some experimentation.
