Excellent, however... Report this review

This is a beautiful routine with a very surprising finish. The routine is move intensive and I would not suggest this to a beginning magi. Even though none of the separate components are all that difficult to perform, a good working knowledge of basic palming technique and card control will serve you well. You will learn a lot after studying Mark's use of misdirection here. This is an excellent purchase for anyone willing to put in some quality practice time....

Is this different from Josh Maddocks “Pipe Dream”? It looks like the finish is cleaner, but I can’t completely tell from the video.

scottwoltz...sorry, I'm not familiar with Pipe Dream but judging from the demo and tone of the reviews for P.D. I do think that C.I.S. is a far better scripted and manageable routine. As more reviews come in for C.I.S. I'm sure we'll be able to judge more objectively...

Can it be done with business cards, or is there something that makes it primarily a Playing Card routine? Thank you.

Yes, I do think it could be done with business cards...but then you would have to replace the "deck" with a "stack" of business cards and the handling would have to be adjusted somewhat to compensate for the different sized elements...
