I was fortunate enough to be gifted this wonderful little package from Erik when he and I met several months ago, and I immediately went home and watched the tutorial. If you are a working magician that specializes in close-up performance (i.e. bar work, table-hopping, strolling, etc.) you would be smart to add this to your arsenal. Yes, there are MANY effects on the market, but VERY FEW of them have the versatility and impact that Erik's "Ultimate Lucky Coin" does, and with such little effort. The sleight-of-hand required to make the gimmick work is minimal, but the reactions are VERY strong. Erik's creation is a winner and I'm proud to own it - now you can too.

So can a beginner do the sleight of hand required for this trick? I really like what i have seen from the video so i really hope i can pull off the sleight of hand.

Hey Cloudten, Erik Tait here. The sleights are pretty easy and I go into a lot of depth to make sure you can learn everything you need to do in order to add this to your working repertoire. I often send my students into the field with this trick because it is great for building confidence in learning sleight of hand.

Can You Use A Coin Switch Purse For The So Called Move? As To Minus The Sleight Of Hand?

The move I teach for the ungimmicked version allows the chip to stay in view the whole time. You could use a coin switch purse if you like, but your audience would be able to back track. It’s a question of strength.

I have a question. Does a certain version of this effect require a decent top change? (Please block out the sleight name of I am accidentally revealing anything). The reason I ask is because that particular sleight, I have so much trouble with timing. It's the only thing that is keeping me on the fence about this purchase. Thanks.
