It does fool people but I don't like it as much as I thought I would . Mine makes noise and seems fumbly although that could probably be fixed with some practice ,for me , its one of those things I don't think is worth the practice , some may like it but its not for me...But very very clever never the less...

About the noise , it's disguised as you talk, nobody will notice about any noise, because they nobody knows what to expect. Or just look in their eyes as you're doing the secret move it distracts them . If you are professional you could get away from it with no problem. If you're not pro, then go learn the basic for how to distract the audience . As the Magician job is always to mislead the audience in every secret move.

I have not purchased a Prison Deck, so I can't comment on the question of noise.
However, I find the remarks about learning to distract the audience a little naive for a gag like this.
Obviously, the box must be in one or more of the spectator's hands for quite some time to try to remove the deck!
How do you suggest for you to distract them?
Maybe before you hand the deck to someone, you could have fireworks going off upstate or really loud head banging music blaring at the stage with flashing colored lights and strobes firing until you get the deck back.
