Magic Tricks

I saw this on sale here, and it looked interesting. I read the description, watched the trailer, and went over to Magic Cafe. There was a lot of carping on that board about what was left out of the trailer, how the map is not quite an accurate London tube map, how the creator of the effect mispronounced Ruslip... you know, the usual stuff. I took the plunge anyway, and boy, am I glad that I did! (Some of those folks on Magic Cafe are just idiots, plain and simple.) This is a fantastic parlor or walk-around piece with at least four different routines built in. The main effect and a bonus one where you get the telephone number of the chosen station correct are just staggering--and they rely on tried-and-true mentalism techniques as well as a clever c***. The other two effects aren't bad either.

As for the price, just remember that you are getting essentially a book test in a map. So I was more than satisfied with paying under $50. This thing will fry minds. (And it is almost impossible to reverse engineer.)

I can't believe that I hadn't seen or heard about Tube, even though it's been around for a few years. While the children at Magic Cafe argue in the sandbox over nonsense, you can get this and just wow folks. It's really that good--and Richard Osterlind thinks so too!
