I’m not going to remove a Star here because the premise and the presentation here is amazing and well worth the price of this effect. Not only that but you simply CAN NOT find Bicycle Princess Card gimmicks these days. So I’ll probably be getting a lot more of these just to stock up.
Here is the but... to say this is different from the original princess card trick is not entirely true. I don’t want to give anything away but you can still do the classic effect with these cards. Also, I believe it says no added cards, which in a sense is true because you only have five cards but it kind of is like adding an extra card.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy this. Unless you just want to be nice and leave more for me so I never run out of gimmicks. Haha.
It definitely feels like Alexander studied the psychology behind what makes the effect work and put in some subtleties that work nicely to bring the trick home. It’s a great new twist on an old classic that adds an extra “ hey wait” moment to an already fantastic effect. If you’re not doing this you should be.
