I haven been performing Twisted Sisters for over 20 years, and never once have I had a spectator reach for the cards to look at them, or even ask to see them. After you perform TS, their minds are completely blown, 2 people chose cards, those cards changed places and turned themselves face up, then the rest of the cards are blank (I have been using blank cards instead of jokers since I have been doing it). The last thing on their minds are trick cards. That being said, I understand the verbal slight of hand principal to this version of it, and the sleight i can do in my sleep, but the one thing that I can see is a drawback is that you, the magician has to be one of the people who chooses one of the cards, instead of using 2 spectators, or 1 spectator choosing 2 cards. Am I correct in this? If I am, due to the fact I have never had anyone question the cards in use, I just wonder if the cards being examinable at the end is worth it enough to have to use yourself and someone else, instead of 2 spectators? Anyone have insight to this?
