Magic Tricks

This well-priced 3-DVD collection is OK, but some of the tricks are outdated, succumbing to a more sophisticated audience. Juan Tamariz is a great magician - no one can argue this - but I don't believe he is giving us his "family jewels" in this series. For instance, one of his tricks is one that I learned from a 4th grade kid years ago. Yes - Juan adds a lot of enthusiasm to it, almost to the point of being annoying, but the basic trick is the same. I guess this series is better suited for beginners, but for most amateur and intermediate magicians, you've seen much of what he offers before.
