What you get:
You get four coins and an ES together with a weblink to learn easy beginner
routines like shell coins through table.
The Coins:
My coins are from 1972 and look really
good. One of the four has some very very small and very few scratches, but it doesn't bother me at
all and no audience would ever notice. They are somewhat soft, but not as soft as I would have
hoped. When you want to produce one coin by pushing it off a stack, that you have fingerpalmed, for
example, you have to be really careful. It is definitely doable tho.
The Shell:
The shell
looks incredibly similar to the coins. When you lay them side by side, you really can't tell which
one's which. The shell hides the coin almost completely. When the shell is mouth up, you could see
it, if you knew, what you have to looking for, but lay people would probably never notice anything.
Teaching:
To be honest, I didn't watch much of the instructional video, because I have some
downloads on this subject. For those who don't , they will probably appreciate this video very much.
In it Luiz Castro teaches you basic unnesting moves, a coins through table and a matrix routine to
get you started with gimmicked coin work. As far as I can tell it is well taught and easy to follow.
This is my first ES-set so I can't compare it to any other on the market, however I am
really happy with what I got. If you are looking for a great and affordable shell coin set, you came
to the right place.
