If you are looking for a peek wallet that allows you to rapidly gain the information and almost instantly hand the wallet to the spectator to hold, Alias fits the bill perfectly. Sleek and well made, this is an excellent peek wallet that anyone can master quickly.

I have owned many peek wallets over the years, and Alias has three distinct advantages over most others:

1. You obtain the information almost instantly once the card is inserted into the wallet

2. You can then, almost instantly, hand them the wallet to hold

3. The angles are very good. Better than most

If you already have a peek wallet you are really happy with, you don’t need Alias. On the other hand, if you are looking for a high quality peek wallet, Alias is an excellent choice.

Two potential cons to consider:

The peek is very quick. Great for drawings, simple information such as a number or a short word. Not good for a full sentence or if more time is needed to decipher handwriting.

There is a component of the wallet that is fragile. In the instructional video, Colin suggests not putting Alias in your back pants pocket because if you sit down the fragile part could break. I kind of wish this was disclosed in the advert. If you carry your wallet in your pants pockets, Alias may not work so well as an every day wallet. It’s probably better to carry Alias in a jacket pocket so you don’t risk breaking the fragile part when you sit down.
