I want to preface this by stating that so far, I have absolutely loved the releases coming from
Joseph B! However, this one just misses for me. The idea and premise of this effect is really cool
and has a really interesting principle. The problem with this effect, is that if the spectator does
not make their cuts and shuffles exact, then the method does not always work. It is possible to work
around this with a little extra work on the magicians part, but the effect loses some of its awe
factor when you have to keep riffling through the cards at the end multiple times because the
spectators shuffles were a bit off. Love Joseph B and please keep the releases coming! But if I
would have known there was a chance to miss at all on this trick, I would have skipped this one.
I agree, I've checked dozens of times and even though I'm following the exact procedure to the letter, this effect unfortunately is a hit or miss. It's just too much of a gamble to attempt this one in the real world.
