Too small for European business cards. Why not either offer another size, or make the clip bigger so it can be used universally? Back to the good old elastic band...

I get my cards printed on 50mm wide business cards cut to that width by the printers. Simply cards have to be any size from big sheets. You will love using this principle when you use this clip.
