Magic Tricks

This has the potential to be able to elevate a routine to reputation making levels but the lighter - at least my lighter has fundamental flaws that make it impossible to use in a live situation.

When mine arrived the battery for the remote was dead - I purchased another from Amazon and that issue was immediately resolved - but as what is supplied is supposed to have a 2 year shelf life we were not off to a great start. Once fitted I paired it with the lighter no problem. Let me stress the remote and button work reliably, almost without fail and the video is really clear in explaining the general operation.

However the biggest flaw is in that the rate at which the lighter fluid flows to the wick. It is just not quick enough - This means that there is never enough for it to light reliably - forget the gimmicked components I am talking about when you rock it like a normal lighter; it lights 3 times out of 10. If I pour lighter fluid directly onto the wick then it works fine... the reservoir is small to accommodate the magic - that is understandable and fine but I can fill it up from the bottom as you would a normal zippo but after one or two uses the flow affects the ability to light...

I think this also affects the gimmick lighting mechanism as it only works again , maybe 3 out of 10 attempts at best - I can see it working every time - but the flame does not catch - not good enough for me to try using in public.

There was also additional effects - the ghost opening of the lighter, which for me did not work either no matter the amount of Fl**h C****n I used!!? but again I am inclined to blame the lighter.

Gutted... I SO wanted this to be awesome.
