This lecture was awesome! I had a smile for the whole lecture and didn't want it to end, but to have
Henri just keep doing really really good magic, and then explain it in a really interesting and
funny way.
Henri's performance is really good, and just watching his crowd control was an
educating experience. Also, he's a very fast thinker and his jokes felt original and funny! Don't
skip the performances to go straight for the tricks, they are a crucial part as well!
As
for the tricks, Henri provides a range of all kinds of magic - cards, music books, Rubick cubes,
rope, trays, wine glasses, and known gimmicks. Some of them are hard, and some of them are not.
There is something for everyone. Henri's teaching is really good and he provides sources for further
learning when needed.
And as always, hearing the thinking around some of the moves and the
routines are important as always. Henri's way of thinking and hitting the classic force is really
smart IMO, and worth a lot of thinking. Henri goes also into theory around utility in performing
which is a good subject to hear more about.
Overall this is a really really good lecture
with a lot of materials (around 3:30 hours!!). Don't skip this one.
