So I ordered this as soon as I saw it it was such a beautiful illusion

I received it today and LACED UP my shoes 😉 within 5 minutes of playing with this I was so happy and blown away I ordered a second copy

It looks as amazing as the trailer and I can’t wait to go out into the world and do this

The only part that will take a little practice is understanding the gimmicks and tying and untying which isn’t hard at all with a little play time

Within ten minutes I had it looking good with a days practice I’ll be a pro at this

This is such a beautiful impossible illusion and I haven’t been this satisfied and excited with a trick in a very long time

Knocked it out of the park with this one

I’d give it 10 stars if I could

How do you get the bow tie tied. It’s not working at all for me and Donovan hasn’t been much help. Just refers me to the video that hasn’t helped me

Yea I just started messing with mine. Do you have any tips to help tying the laces. I can't get the knot very tight when I try to detach knot it comes undone

Gotta connect the laces via the magnet, right lace on top, then run it under and up and tie like regular shoes, and the bow itself will be tight, but note that when the bow is on, it will have more excess lace and look a bit loose sitting on the shoe, this is normal, just adjust the gimmicked laces to be as tight as possible but not come undone when walking.

Sorry I’m just seeing this guys anyone who has any questions just see my name and message me on Facebook as long as you can prove you own the effect I’d be glad to help once you understand the gimmick it’s super easy to do after a little practice if you’re having any trouble it will be fixed with the slightest tweak but as I said once you understand it you’ll be doing it flawlessly every time. I got it down smooth by the end of the first day. This effect is incredible easily best trick of 2022 and for me it’s best trick in I don’t even know how many years. This trick will live on my shoe from now on

Is Ken Kuroki, originator of the moving lace, credited?

First published in English in Genii 1989

Recently republished in big Kaufman book, Japan Ingenious

Did anyone get Kuroki’s permission?

Why is he not mentioned in the ad?

This is outstanding! I was so jazzed up about this one that I ordered a new pair of black Cariuma high-tops. The reason for this is the fact that these have 8 eyelets which we give me plenty of lace to secure the shoe on my foot. Just got mine! This is going to be fun

This is incredible!
I would consider purchasing two ro three pr even four ets of this.
Why?
Well, in the video Donovan teaches an alternate move with the bow tie where you put it on the other shoe!
How cool is that! I(magine if you had two sets! One set for each shoe, you could use either shoe at any time, why four sets?
I generally perform corporate and dress in suits and ties etc. So, having a set in a nice set of dress shoes seems only natural! Or two sets for the dress shoes so either shoe is workable and the possibilities....
I love this!
