This is going straight to the trash. There's nothing more expensive than a prop you have to buy
twice because the first one is crap, and magic shops don't accept returns.
This key looks
like a cheap toy prop. It's virtually impossible to control because the balance is terrible, and it
slides everywhere. The edges are sharp, the casting seam is pretty noticeable, and so is the brazing
where the key shank and ward join.
This is not the key you are looking for. The review
talking about this coming with a patina and well balanced MUST be mistaking this for the Murphy's
Magic Haunted Key Deluxe. It's $10 more but the looks, weight and balance are all better than this
key. It's well known for it's patina and exellent balance, making it a real worker. It looks and
feels like an old skeleton key that belongs in a lock. It's the easiest to control on the market
anywhere near this price.
