The effect is great and I love the idea of taking an object off there phone and bringing it into
reality, however the title of the trick and the title of the webpage is so closely connected, they
are many times looking at videos and ad copy of the trick I'm about ready to perform for them. So
I wish the web page that the spectator is going to was not the same name of the trick.....
Hey Joe, glad you like it. We’ve actually added a new website domain that removes thus issue. Either join the Facebook group by searching MiniBook pro magic trick or contact me via tricktrickboom.com and I’ll advise the extra domain
I dont own this yet as I know it involves a MCF which I stink at. However wouldn't the trick work just as well doing it from your own phone? Why use someone else's and have to worry about that issue. Seems the trick would be just as amazing using your own phone
Hey fireball66, if you're OK with not having the card signed you could pre-fold a duplicate and do this without an MCF.
There are a number of tools out there for scoring a card, to make the MCF a snap. I've got the "Incredibox," I think it's called, and Jon Allen has one ("Perfect Score"?). They both have guides to help with accurate placement.
I find the ceramic blades work very well. The brand name "Slice" is what I use. It works really well because it can't go too deep. ($6 on Am*z*n.)
I LIGHTLY score the face of the court cards, keeping the score lines inside the printed portion of the card. The lines are pretty much invisible on the face, they aren't visible on the back (which happens when you cut too deep), and the card folds perfectly.
Probably more than you need to know...
