Ok, so here is the review you've been waiting for.
As soon as I opened the (elegant) package, I got surprised by the visual quality of the materials provided, without exposing one of the secrets. So I went right through the tutorials.

Mr. Carratala has an unique and exciting teaching approach, he is very didactic and covers every single detail with enthusiasm, but after 10~15 min of tutorial I was willing to give it a 2 star review. Why was that? I explain...

When I purchased Constructo, my idea was to use it together with some sort gimmick that could give me the information I needed in advance. For example, some memo pad or Pitata whiteboard, TCC Syncplify or whatever method. This way I could Know the card in advance and make it appear in my hand as Constructo would offer. But within the tutorial I found out not every card can be named. I make a pause here and a comparisson: I purchased a Ferrari and wanted it to submerge and navigate as a submarine. My concept before buying was wrong, not the gimmick.

So I continued the tutorial and changed my mindset to what Constructo really would deliver to me, and decided to give it a chance.

I got impressed. It is that amazing.

Thinking as a magician and of course willing to fool magicians as well, the routine SEEMS to involve magician's choice, but actually is what I would call "magician's choice on steroids" (that's when magicians get fooled), because spectators can really choose and change their minds since the very first choice, and this is awesome. To layman needless to say it goes totally unoticed.

The appearance of the card is probably what you think it is, but upgraded with the use of good technology. Yes, the card can be named at the very last moment (remember, not 52 cards). Adrian mentions "the grab" is a 1 second moment, but I encourage anyone to take the time, as in a dramatic slow motion grab into thin air. You won be caught, the gimmick is very disguiseable. Passed my wife's test, the most difficult one. After that you're lead to the last part of the revelation.

After many years in magic, we know the perfect gimmick doesn't exists. It all depends on magician and on the performance. As Maverick states in Top Gun: "it's not the plane, it's the pilot". But all in all Constructo is a GREAT piece of magic and mixes some good old and new principles.
