This is a common problem with those who develop tech dependent magic effects. The creator knows
their creation so well, but have not studied how to teach. Thus, the creator zips through the
instructions rapidly, leaving the student in the dust and having to rewind over, and over and over
and over again. This exhausts many of us and often requires many sittings to get through the
instructions.
I have multiple of DJ's effects, most actually. I love his brilliant and
magical mind but he is a very poor teacher when it comes to his tech based products (I own all of
these). He would help his instruction a GREAT deal by SLOWING WAY DOWN. I do appreciate his
willingness to answer questions but wish he would either partner with a good teacher or view
teaching as a separate skill set that, like any important skill set, requires training and
experience to do well. (I speak as a professional teacher.)
