I'm a kinda old guy, that only started doing magic professionally 15 years ago, but as a kid, I saw
a prominent magician's portable hole routine at the now defunct Illusions Bar in Indianapolis in the
80s. It absolutely floored young me as real magic.
Much later, as an adult part-time pro
magician, I went to that magician's lecture, but found it to be a bit fiddly. I've purchased a few
other "moving hole on card" routines since then, trying to capture that same magic for my audiences,
and I haven't found them practical for my needs.
I came into this video tutorial with low
expectations. And I was pleasantly surprised! Not too hard. Not fiddly. Practical. Kyle has taken a
couple of basic concepts, and combined them so they work amazingly together. Kudos!
