Filled with amazing material and on of my favorite books of all time. I have worked through every
trick and done many of these for audiences: Play it Straight, Shriek of the Mutilated (torn and
restored cig paper) are probably the most performed and famous tricks from this book, but there's so
much other good stuff.
Other highlights: The revolutionary penetration is a very good
Chinese coin through ribbon. Discrepancy City Prediction is an easy quickie that's a good prelude to
other tricks (and he uses it again in Smoke and Mirrors). Unreal work is another underrated trick
that gives you more credit for sleight of hand than than you deserve. Shock Treatment is worth the
stack. There's even a really good coin matrix from Bob Kohler. And Shanghai Surprise is a real
fooler that's easy to do.
The book is 35 years old, but most of the stuff is still fresh.
(Maybe not photologic, but it's still magical.)
