Of all the tutorials I’ve watched from Penguin Magic, this is the least helpful. Rushed, very few
tips about how to handle the coins or perform the trick. I wont go in to more details, because this
tutorial is a fail for me at the most basic level. Perhaps I’m just too inexperienced and for most
magicians having just the gimmick and a performance video is enough.
I have owned the original hopping half made by Johnson coin and will stick with it because the Chinese coin looks great with quality, unlike these cheap looking coins that you get with this set.
I would rather not no a coin trick at all if I have to present something that looks like it came out of a box of cereal.
Sorry for the harsh comments and criticism, but I have been doing magic for 50 years and the quality of coins has come down significantly due to cost I’m sure, most are not produced in the USA as in years past. Again, my apologies to anyone considering the purchase of this, please don’t let steer you away.
It will be great for most, however if you are a professional, I would waste my money.
