I'm so glad penguin magic decided to make their own spongeballs. I'm not sure if Goshman went out of business because it's so hard to find those spongeballs. The feel of the penguin spongeballs are really close. They spring back to life very quickly even without water. The color is very vibrant, I got the red set. You get a great instructional video by Erik Tait. I love Erik's teaching. He seems so calm to me and makes everything easy to follow along. In the video download you will learn some easy and basic sleights and some easy routines. You will also learn how to maintain the sponges. My only complaint, which is not a big deal, is that they come in a zip lock baggie. Which is not the end of the world, but I loved how the goshman spongeballs came in that little box. The box would help hold the shape of the spongeballs in a case or shelf when not in use. Again, that's just my silly opinion and not a big deal since you can quickly blow into the sponges to get the shape back. I highly recommend these. I have been big on sponge magic for a long time and I couldn't be any happier. I'm hoping penguin magic will release more of their own sponge products soon.
