I saw this effect first when Greg performed it live in the Magic & Mystery School, and it stuck in
the back of my mind for a year before I finally purchased.
It’s probably the cleanest, easiest
and most powerful Matrix effect you'll ever do. It does require practice once you know the secret.
You can mess up if you're not paying attention. Once mastered, and flawlessly done, you’ll have lots
o fun with this routine.
Addressing the elephant in the room, $250 is not cheap. If we take into
account, the price of the included mats in itself can reach up to $150 or more, leaving the making
of the gimmicks, and lesson for this valued at around $100. While expensive in my opinion, the video
did help with learning the routine. However I was disappointed the other routines shown in the ad
weren't taught or even mentioned. You only get the 12-minute lesson for the Quantum Coin Matrix
routine.
Although not as important as the effect itself, if you’re into packaging aesthetics, it
was underwhelming. The pictures showed a shiny foiled box, but I got the cards, coins and a slip of
paper with the link to the video in a bag like other inexpensive tricks.
Despite these
minor setbacks , I'm happy with this purchase.
