Unfortunately, the wallet disappointed me.
Not with its functions, but with its appearance.
Peek, Switch and Card to Wallet work well. The tutorial video is also good.
But the wallet
itself is poorly sewn (I understand that the wallet pattern is not simple, but I think it can be
sewn more carefully).
Personally, my copy has a sloppy seam (the stitch just goes to the very
edge, and does not go along the frame as it should), and the wallet itself is skewed (when folded,
the corners of the wallet do not match at all).
Again, this does not affect the functions
of the wallet, but it seems that it was sewn by eye, and not according to patterns.
I am
not a fan of wabi-sabi, I like my things to look expensive and high-quality, without flaws.
As a result, the wallet, doesn't look expensive, although it costs a lot. I don't know, add an
extra $20 to the cost so that the person who sews them does it better. Now I personally do not want
to use it as my everyday wallet.
1.The leather definitely has a lot of plastic on it and isn't the highest quality wallet leather. It smells and feels like a good pleather combined with cheaper leather. 2. The inside velvety material has already started to show wear. 3. I worry about the stitching. I'm a minimalist so I carry a couple cards, cash, ID, and B'wave but it has already started to show wear. With this being out of stock, I wonder how long mine will last.
