First, the negatives. There are several references to downloads and resources that are no longer
available.
The positives: As a performer in mentalism you NEED these books - both volumes! I
do not agree with all Chuck's thoughts about performing or mentalism but I do agree on the majority.
And the ones I do not agree with I will still consider and think about. And Chuck even says you may
not agree with him 100% of the time. Performers are different and what works for one may not work
for another but Chuck's thoughts are something we all should consider.
The books do not have a
ton of pages and the print is an easy size to read, but do not read this like a novel. Each
chapter, each idea will require you to think how it may apply, or how you may need to apply, it to
your show.
Well worth it. You need BOTH volumes.
