Despite the “9” in its promotional title, this is actually another edition or reissue of Volume 2,
possibly numbered in a publisher catalog rather than following chronological volume numbering. My
print copy says "First edition from 1988", so I suspect the 9, could be a classification error?
The volume Contains around 245 pages, with an 18-page "Vernonona" portfolio at the front,
over 50 routines, 27 historical photographs, and 177 illustrations—consistent with Volume 2’s
content. This is an astonishing companion to Vernon's trilogy and Book of Magic, as this volume
includes details and fine points taught from master to a student. At the current price ($35) this is
a steal
