I just received this and made my way through the 1 hr 40 min tutorial. I saw Craig's exposure video
on this, and I can say it swayed me to purchase the product. The methods are clever and creative.
You can watch Craig's exposure video where he gives away the methods if you are interested. I love
trivia questions, so that is a bonus.
There is no memory work required, but I think it does
help to run through the deck a few times to make sure you are familiar with the questions and
answers. Craig does an excellent job on the video covering the different handlings and gives you a
plethora of presentation ideas. There are several live performances on the video, and they are not
edited. So, you can see some ways Craig manages the spectators in performance.
The
production of the cards is top notch. They look like regular cards you would get with a
trivia-like game. They handle extremely well. There was a snafu in the development/production,
so you only get 50 cards instead of 52. This is not a big deal. The crib on the back of the card
case works to avoid memory work, but I think familiarizing yourself with the crib words will help in
performance. There is one small tiny bug on the crib (plural word versus singular word).
There are two parts which I find awkward, but they are not show-stoppers. One is that you need
to carefully manage how the spectator cuts the cards. Two is that the bottom card is the one chosen
by the spectator, as opposed to the top card. Craig covers both of these items in the video
tutorial. There are alternative handlings to get around these.
I think this is an awesome
project that Craig has put out. Kudos for him sharing it with the magic community. He has hit a
homerun on this product.
