I don't think it was the product that was necessarily bad, but more the advertising. They advertise this to be a KILLER new cutlery bend, but honestly, the bend wasn't that great and that put more of an emphasis on the other two routines presented here.

I honestly didn't really like any of them; none of the routines on here are THAT original or THAT amazing... I can't really say I recommend this DVD for what is on it, and if you want to learn metal bending, go with something good like Liquid Metal or WGM: Metal Bending.

Not worth the money, not recommended.

When you basically don't like a DVD and can't really recommend it, how about not giving it three stars. Your review seems hardly worthy of two.

When you comment on a review that's 6 years old, just to complain about their star rating, you're pretty much wasting your time.

I've got to say that some of the reviews here are a bit harsh. I've known Chad for a few years and bought this DVD from Bob Solari back in 06', I think, at the Winter Carnival of Magic. I got it to support a friend and fellow magician, as it was his first DVD. I wasn't disappointed with the product, either. It is truly a basic, impromptu spoon bend, that is easy to do and just eerie when done correctly. Granted, it's not liquid metal, but it also doesn't require anywhere near as much practice, either. It's one you can watch and do, within 5 minutes. The reactions are very good, as the spoon seemingly bends upright before the spectators eyes. The bonus coin tricks are also very good and can be mastered easily. If you want a basic, easy to do, spoon bend that's not difficult to learn, then it's worth your time. Even better if you can pick it up at a discount, like coolbox or auction. Remember, its a basic, deceptive spoon bend that can be done instantly. its had great reactions for me years. I do add a little more advanced work to it, but it's an easy lead in to more advanced work, or as a stand alone.
