Okito boxes can be very cool and make for a nice bit of magic, but for me, the unnaturalness and strangeness of the box makes it something I can't do anymore. I can just see the reactions for my audiences are less anytime I use gimmicks like this.

Don't get me wrong. If you are thinking about an Okito Box this may be a purchase for you. The Tango Okito is a good one, and there are plenty of magicians who swear by a good Okito box. However, for me, I'm all about using objects that won't have my audience pondering over for a length of time after I've finished performing. It's not worth it to me.
