This is a great thumb tip perfect for smaller hands and I use it all the time. The problem, I was
vaniahng one of those blue rubber bands. My little brother was the only one waching. When I made it
vanish, I noticed that you could see the blue color of the band through the thumb tip. My brother
even pointed out to me that he had noticed it too. I still recommend this, but careful of how bright
what you vanish is.
Don't show your thumb, Easy. Magicians have been able to perform with a bright red thumb tip, shiny metal ones, etc You should be able to vanish things, and bring them back without your thumb even being noticed.
I used to do a cigarette vanish with a TT that was a similar problem. The dark ash of the cig would stain the tips of the TT and blacken them. Solution? I'd cut small (2"?) square of paper and put it in the bottom. Cig goes out on the paper, no more staining the TT. Similar would block out your bright colors showing through.
