This thumb tip is a little stiffer and a little shinier than Vernet's hard plastic thumb tip, which I'm using as the Gold Standard. I prefer the look and feel of Vernet's, but in truth, it's a small difference. If you're on a budget, this will do; if you can afford a couple extra bucks, I recommend Vernet's over this.
