This is a strong example of false advertising. I am a working magician and perform a variety of
escapes. Borrowed handcuffs, rope ties, zip ties etc... This advertisement clearly states that you
can have spectators just take some zip ties and zip tie your hands fingers etc.. NOT TRUE. They
imply it is very freely done. NOT TRUE. You must ensure that they allow you to do it "your way" and
they must be clueless as well as being the least observant people in their community. A total waste
of money in my opinion UNLESS you are performing for children or extremely elderly folks with
terrible vision. The audience members DO NOT get to take the zip ties (not even yours) and place
them on you as is described in the advertisement. They must place them, connect them and or close
them in the way of the performers choosing. Way too much crowd management for me to consider this
impressive, amazing or even viable in the least. I have no problem with crowd management but
seriously. This trick will be returned to Penguin. Many many other better choices on this site to
choose from. The other two reviewers before me are either dealing with a different type of audience
or they are simply way out of my league. More power to them if they are happy with this purchase,
however I STRONGLY recommend against buying this. Your audience members (the ones tying you up) must
overlook so much that is WAY TOO OBVIOUS. By the way, in my zip tie escape I simply break zip ties
(yes standard or even borrowed of any size) right off within about 45 seconds. It is a combination
of strength, determination and leverage. The problem is that it then simply becomes an impressive
strong man routine, instead of an elegant escape. There is no question in the spectators minds as to
how I do it because I prefer to perform without the benefit of cover. They just figure "wow you are
freakishly strong". It is cool to see, but I was looking for a less taxing and more mysterious
escape. If you doubt me, you must understand that people break standard handcuffs all the time. This
review is here for a reason. Trust it. Achilles
