I was very disappointed. Basic stuff that can be found in many magic books, or on line. I just expected more from Penguin.

Perhaps you missed the point. ALL of these tricks are from The Tarbell Course in Magic. The underlying methods are not "new," but I have taken on the task of revising, updating, and modernizing them for use with current audiences. Yes, you can find descriptions of the tricks elsewhere, but you will not get my presentation, handling, and expert advice... except HERE. I do hope you'll take another look and be able to set aside your preconceived notions.

Yeah that was the whole point, to teach what is in Tarbell. If you are disappointed in Tarbell you are not magician. Tarbell is the "bible of magic" and should be every magician's magic foundation.
