It's SUPER SIMPLE, And get's absolutely incredible reactions, it's hands off, and the spectator's do just about everything themselves (Minus the setup you do just before)

You can repeat for different people with different cards every time, and it's a double whammy that people do NOT see coming at all. The only thing I have as a con to this is the fact that you have to be very careful with your instructions, or people will not do what you want them to.

I personally carry this setup with 2 different decks than the one's I use during performance and I keep the one in my hand and show them what I want them to do while they are doing it, this has helped the user error to get to a minimum.

Great when done for friends that are really close, or couples on a date, anniversary, and I performed it for a bride and groom at their wedding this past Saturday with a Microphone and had 200 people go nuts from a single performance of this trick. It's so simple and so devastating to your audience that there's no excuse for you to not be performing this routine in your show. The only downside is you need 2 decks and a little something extra we all have plenty of. I have even used other substitutes for this thing on the fly when I was out and didn't have any with me and it it always hit's hard.

It's a great one-two punch, the first reaction is from the spectator's realizing they somehow turned over the same card,.. give them that moment, and then you get an ovation for showing the second effect when the cards are turned over and then you get the applause as an afterthought. It's great!!!!

I have one suggestion to anyone doing his effect.

In the explanation, Eric states to put the selected card one card above the (let's call it a gimmick, even though it's really not) I strongly suggest placing the reveal card about 4-5 cards from the face of the deck, this really helps this trick foolproof and prevents the spectator from ever going any further and possibly discovering the "gimmick which in Eric's handling is only one card away. The way I do it, the gimmick (which can be felt if the cards are spread a bit further than you'd want) is several cards away from the reveal card, and they never spread far enough to feel, or see it.

And don't try and reset it in front of the spectator, there's a chance they'll see something they aren't supposed to, so just don't, I learned the hard way, and just putting it out there so you never experience the same embarrising moment.

All in All,.. This is powerful, oouldn't be simpler to to, set up or perform. Just do it and you'll see people freak out! they lose all interest in you, and don't realize you're a magician stnading there presenting it o them, until that final reveal, where it brings all the attention, and applause back to you, as it's deserved.
