While Daryl says this course assumes you already know something about the cups and balls, it is
taught as if you are a complete beginner. He explains every single detail, including types of cups,
types of balls, wands, etc. Anyone with any real experience in C&B will probably skip the first 20
minutes of this. Anyone just getting started and not sure what to buy will find it invaluable.
Then the really good stuff kicks in. Individual moves are explained in detail. While I've seen
most, there were a few that I'd never seen before and found immediately useful.
There are
only two routines explained on this DVD, and they really aren't that groundbreaking. The first is so
repetitive that I can't imagine really using it, but if you are a beginner it's a good start. The
second is better. Daryl's routine is awesome simply because it can be impromptu in any dinner
situation when people ask you to show them something (provided you can grab some kind of final load
from the table like a roll or fruit). It's short but visually explosive and doesn't allow anyone to
get bored.
Don't buy this expecting a bunch of new routines. Instead, buy this as a
foundation for what is to come in the next volume, as well as a foundation for creating your own
routines later.
